This re.store® bottle bag is socially inclusive, sustainable and supports the local economy.
It is socially inclusive because it is made by people who are unique in their difference, in this case by senior citizens whose knowledge and care are applied to every detail of the sewing and making of the crochet flower, thus promoting active ageing and whose work is paid for in a dignified manner.
This bag also contributes to reducing the ecological footprint because it is made from waste/scraps of denim leggings that result from the production process of the national textile industry.
Their accessories are also sustainable: the brand label is woven from recycled polyester yarn and the paper label with the re.store value proposition is made from cotton waste and seeds, so it’s plantable!
And it includes a crochet flower that embellishes this bag and can then be reused for other purposes; it is made by the skilled hands of the users of our partner in the area of active ageing, Cuidar+.
And you can also find out who made it because each bag is signed by the people involved in the process on a label that results from the use of waste from another re.store® partner, the Minhografe printing company, which has supported us since day 0 in our purpose.
It has an estimated size of 40x20cm, a reinforced seam at the base, a suitable shape for wrapping a bottle for longer!
