To celebrate International Women’s Day, we launched a collection of solidarity shopping bags with the special participation and gracious work of Ana Marlene Lima, a painter from Braga, For each bag sold, up to €2.00 will be given to APAV – Portuguese Association for Victim Support.
True to our essence, these bags are made by users of IPSS, Associations or Social Causes (refugees and families in disadvantaged situations) who are paid for their work, and made from waste and textile scraps from the Portuguese home textile industry.
And what makes it wonderfully unique? The love with which it is made, the diversity of colors and patterns created by the mastery of Ana Marlene Lima’s hands! No two bags are alike, and whoever buys it, besides contributing to a more eco-friendly and socially responsible planet, will be carrying a work of art and a choice: the choice of including unique people in their diversity and financially supporting an Association that helps a lot of Portuguese citizens who are victims of several crimes, the APAV.
