Description
re.store shopping bags are socially inclusive, sustainable, resistant and uniquely designed!
They are socially inclusive because they are made by people who are uniquely different – social institutions, refugees, social causes, active ageing – whose work is fairly paid.
They are sustainable and contribute to reducing the ecological footprint because they are made from fabric waste and textile accessories, which transforms what at first glance would be a material with no possible functional use into a unique, sustainable and socially inclusive bag.
The handles are made from upcycled material from a trimmings factory, very resistant and in line with the design of the bag.
The brand label is woven from recycled polyester yarn, the signature label is printed with water-based ink and biodegradable material and the paper label with re.store’s value proposition is made from cotton waste and seeds, so it’s plantable!

What is our impact when designing this denim bag?
In People: remuneration for the social partners who made the bags.
For the Planet: upcycle of textile material (waste fabric and trimmings for the straps), with no additional water and energy consumption, no CO2 emissions and no chemical agents’ use.
