The re.store® pet ALMOFADÃO pet bed is socially inclusive, sustainable, hard-wearing and uniquely designed!

It is socially inclusive because it is made by people who are uniquely different – prisoners, social institutions, refugees, social causes, active ageing – whose work is fairly paid. It is sustainable and contributes to reducing the ecological footprint because it is made from fabric waste that results from the production process of the Portuguese textile industry. The super fluffy filling comes from the waste of Portuguese duvet factories and the grosgroins we use to make its design more appealing and unique are upcycled from the waste of a textile trimmings factory.

The brand label is woven from recycled polyester yarn, the signature label is printed with water-based ink and biodegradable material and the paper label with the re.store® value proposition is made from cotton waste and seeds, so it’s plantable!

How did we develop this pet bed?

With our purpose as a brand in mind – upcycling – and the certainty that pets also deserve products that are People-and-Planet-friendly. We have upcycled waste and surplus fabrics, accessories and duvet fillings to create pet beds that are resistant, functional, unique, sustainable and socially inclusive.
