At re.store®, we have an important responsibility and commitment towards the security of our website and the protection of the data of our customers and visitors. Our privacy policy is presented below. Any changes to this policy will be made available here, in this statement.

Customer data allows our employees to process their orders, notify them of important changes to the website’s functionality, conduct surveys and obtain information for statistical purposes.

 

We may also periodically email you information about products and services, campaigns, promotions and special offers. If the customer does not wish to be contacted for these purposes, he/she can unsubscribe from the newsletter on his/her personal account.

 

re.store® is committed to protecting customer data hence it will never be made available to third parties.

 

When processing the customer’s order, it is possible that his/her data, such as address and postal code, will be disclosed for the purposes of preventing and detecting fraud.

3. What are cookies?

A cookie is a small text that websites can send to browsers, attached to any connection. On subsequent visits, the browser resends the data to the server that owns the cookie in order to optimize the user’s experience on the website. A cookie is transmitted until it expires, which is defined by the website. 

 

Sites generally use cookies to distinguish users and to remember preferences.

 

For example, when a user enters their username and password on a website (such as gmail or facebook), their browser receives and saves one or more cookies. These cookies serve as an identification that the browser sends every time. In this way the website can recognize the user as the person who previously entered with their username and password.

 

The transmission of cookies, by default, is invisible to the user, but the user can configure his/her browser to alert him about them or even see the information contained in the stored cookies. However, the content of cookies is generally meaningless to the user, these are information used internally by the server.

re.store® uses one of the safest existing online ordering systems and is constantly improving its software in order to offer the most robust security to its customers.

 

We use a server certificate, also known as a digital certificate, which ensures our identity, as well as a SSL encryption (Secure Sockets Layer – Secure Sockets Layer Protocol) of the transmitted data.

5. Payment Methods

5.1. Credit Card

The customer will be able to pay by credit card and enjoy the advantages of liquidity and payment terms offered by his/her bank.

 

All transactions on our website are secure.

5.1.1 Is it safe to pay with my card online?

re.store® uses a sophisticated mechanism for detecting and preventing fraudulent actions. Through this solution, it is possible to verify the authenticity of payments made online, while simultaneously safeguarding the integrity and security of customer data, as well as their identification.

 

This security is made possible by SSL (Secure Socket Layer) technology, which encrypts the communications produced between the client’s computer and our server so that they cannot be intercepted. As such, re.store® reserves the right to refuse payment for an order for a transaction that is considered illegal. Any and all activities considered illegal will be immediately reported to the competent authorities.

5.1.2. How do I pay by credit card?

After selecting the credit card payment option and clicking “Checkout”, the customer will be asked to provide the necessary details of their credit card, namely the name, number, expiration date and security code of the same.

If payment is declined, a message will be displayed to the customer indicating the error found in their shopping cart window. In these situations, we suggest the customer to try again and, if the problem persists, we recommend that you contact your bank or credit card issuer for more information.

 

Once payment is made, the amount will be debited from the customer’s credit card account. If, for any reason, we have to cancel part or all of the order, we will refund the corresponding amount within 5 working days. The transaction will be reflected in the customer’s card statement after 2 business days from the date it was made.

 

In order to protect our customers from potential fraud, we may eventually ask for additional information in order to facilitate payment analysis. If we do not receive a response to our request within 3 working days, we will proceed with the cancellation of the order and the respective refund.

 

Warning: Payments are always made in euros, even when prices are shown in other currencies. Some banking entities may charge exchange rates. re.store® is totally unaware of this fact and assumes no responsibility for it.

5.2. Pagamento por Multibanco ( Disponível apenas em Portugal )

Os pagamentos por Multibanco podem ser efetuados através da Rede de Caixas Multibanco ou através do seu Homebanking.

Ao finalizar a sua encomenda, será gerada uma referência Multibanco. O cliente receberá esta referência no e-mail de confirmação da encomenda, embora esta também seja disponibilizada nos “Detalhes da encomenda”, no separador “Encomendas” na conta re.store® do cliente.

Para efetuar o pagamento numa caixa Multibanco, o cliente tem de selecionar a opção “Pagamento de Serviços/Compras” e inserir a entidade, referência e valor correspondentes.

A encomenda será expedida no próprio dia, se o pagamento for efetuado até às 14h de um dia útil. Encomendas pagas após essa hora serão expedidas no dia útil seguinte.

Os produtos são reservados durante 4 dias. Caso a re.store® não receba o pagamento da encomenda durante este período, a encomenda será cancelada.

5.2. Pagamento por MBWay ( Disponível apenas em Portugal )

Os pagamentos por MBWay podem ser efetuados através através do seu telefone. Basta selecionar o método de pagamento MB WAY, de seguida insere o nº de telemóvel associado, irá receber uma notificação no seu smartphone, aceita a compra MBWay, confirma com o PIN MBWay, e conclui o pagamento.

A encomenda será expedida no próprio dia, se o pagamento for efetuado até às 14h de um dia útil. Encomendas pagas após essa hora serão expedidas no dia útil seguinte.

Os produtos são reservados durante 4 dias. Caso a re.store® não receba o pagamento da encomenda durante este período, a encomenda será cancelada.

Tem de confirmar a compra num período máximo de 15 minutos. Após este tempo limite o pedido de compra expira, nestes casos será necessário repetir o processo de compra para receber uma nova notificação.
